afternoon recap + CareCalendar reminder

Mom and Dad arrived at home from the hospital around 3 o'clock this afternoon. Kudzu, Mom's kitty, was waiting by the couch for her person to return. It seems a week's absence is forgivable, because no sooner had Llama hit the sofa than Kudzu jumped up and assumed her usual position on Mom's chest. From Kudzu's perspective, all is right with the world again.

happy kitty = happy Llama!

Mom will be recovering at home for a while, and she'll just take it a day at a time in terms of how much she can do. All signs point to a faster rebound from this surgery, which we hope will indeed be the case. Hopefully she'll be back at church/book group/all her other activities in short order, but in the meantime, should you wish to bring Mom and Dad some food in the early stages of recuperation, you can sign up on the CareCalendar (security code: 7005). You can sign up for slots through the end of the month. Otherwise, if you want to visit, please call the house first to see how Mom is feeling and to let her know you'd like to come by.

Thanks again, as ever, for all your support and positive thoughts and prayers. We're all so pleased with how this final surgery went, and I'm sure much of the thanks is due to the care and support we've felt from all of you. It's wonderful to see how many people love our Llama!
